God has never left us uneducated. Even before the discovery of creating literature and books, it was Adam that received information about what to do and what not to do. This means even in the 21st century, we are well informed about the challenges that we will encounter. For this reason, God gave us the assurance of what would result from the challenges. He always wanted us to know that weapons would come against us but they would never prosper (Isaiah 54:17). This never meant you wouldn’t go to war but that you would be victorious in every battle. This is what it means to be prosperous. The weapons absolutely showed up in your life, but they never had the opportunity to prosper.
If any weapon was given the opportunity to prosper, you would never be able to read this blog. This would mean what God shared with us, ages ago, is still in existence. His promise remains true because God cannot lie. And the reason He shared this so long ago is because He knew what would happen during our experience on earth. This is one reason the Holy Bible remains the most important literature in our world. Lack of knowledge causes you to fear situations that could never defeat you. This is why it becomes so important that we try again. Trying again is also the seed for our restoration. We’ve learned what it means to store, so it is necessary that we go into the ‘re’. Applied to just about any word, ‘re’ transforms the definition to simply mean a repeat of the original word itself.
So, restore means no matter how much you have been depleted, God can easily store you back up again. This is why His Word places such an emphasis on restoration. Because God knows how your story will pan out. There is never a depressed ending, when God is involved. So the same way He can build you up again, it is necessary that you also try God again. Don’t give the things you have been up against the authority to disturb you from trusting in what God said in His Word. Everything God told us about those weapons that fight against our well-being holds true. Which is why we never stop trusting and trying, with the faith that God will fulfill everything He promised.
And even when it comes to your own restoration, it is yet God repeating Himself. Because throughout biblical text, we learn about historical events where God restored His people. This means that He not only has the receipts to prove who He is and how He works, but He is continuously giving us another try. Because the last thing God wants is for His people to come up short. So even during our mishaps, we are encouraged to try again. Even when we have doubts and disbelief in the flesh, the spirit cries out, “Try again!” Because as long as you have breath, you are given the opportunity to try. And whether this is the second chance or chance number nine, what matters most is that you tried. As a result, you are not asked to be perfect but simply try again, recognizing that God still loves you. Try Again.
