The Storehouse

ree

After finishing what is in store for God’s people, Holy Spirit gave me vision of a storehouse. Because what is stored must have a place where it is kept. And not only does the Holy Bible mentions the things stored by God, but He Himself talks about His storehouses. It was near the end of the book of Job, where God has now responded to Job’s requests and also replies with His own examination of Job. In the 38th chapter, God questions whether Job has ever entered the storehouses that God has for snow and hail (Job 38:22 NIV). This displays how God even maintains a storehouse for climate purposes. God further explains in Verse 23, where He says it is stored for times of trouble.

If God is that precise when it involves weather, one can only imagine what kind of storehouses are being filled for those He love. And one of the ways we define a storehouse is by being a source of abundant supplies. This means that the storehouses not only hold things but an abundance of things. This means when we talk about restoration, one can only imagine what and how much is actually in store. This becomes a more in-depth reason to trust what God is doing in your life. All we have to do is go back to the book of Job and learn of the ways that God restores. The final chapter in Job takes us to a person who had once lost it all and is now being restored (Job 42:10). But not just with what he once had but double. This means no matter how wealthy Job once was, it was now multiplied.

And not only did Job lose all of his wealth, prior to being restored, He also lost all of his children. This is why the Holy Bible found it necessary to mention how Job was blessed to have ten more children, and how the daughters were the most beautiful in the whole land. And after regaining his role as a father, the Lord even blessed Job with long life to see his children’s children to the fourth generation (Job 42:12-16)! This means we should never allow any storm that we encounter to outweigh what our God can do. For one reason alone, God knows about the challenges we will have to face. This means He already knows how He is going to bless you (Jeremiah 29:11). And with a Lord as mighty as our God that stores in abundance, there isn’t anything in this world that can sway me from trusting in God and what He is able to do.

So, when the previous post talks about what’s in store, it is only right to know how and why our God stores. He not only stores in abundance, but He also stores in love. With something that we often take for granted (snow and hail), God has yet prepared a storehouse for our good. So, as you reflect on God storing for His children, you can trust that what is being stored is also for our good. And not just good but also stored in abundance. This should totally transform the way you see your trials, when you allow God to be involved. If He keeps snow and hail on hold for times of trouble, imagine all of the resources being held for your trials and tribulations.

With that, I have one thing to say: Thank You, Lord for the storehouses!!!
