The entire collection of books by Nicholas L. Maze, prestigiously titled “Open Book Series.” This is where the author takes the reader on an intimate journey, while pouring layers upon layers of knowledge about God’s Word. It is delivered in such a way that the literature can easily be applied to current events, while also transforming the our own worldly experiences: OPEN HANDS OPEN EARS OPEN EYES OPEN MOUTH The first installment of the series (Open Hands) allows you to find your place on this platform called world. It is here that we discover there is more to do, besides finding a job and retiring. This takes us to the ‘meat’ of our purpose. The second installment (Open Ears) is almost a breath of fresh air. Because for too long, we have heard too much. This is one of the crippling challenges that leads to stagnation. Not only is there an opportunity to clean out our ears, but also be receptive to what God is saying. The third installment (Open Eyes) addresses the most challenging aspect of life. The things we are able to see. Whether we have agreed with it or not, every single one of us has witnessed what consist of the world. In this book, it has less to do with pulling back the curtains and more to do with adjusting the lenses. Seeing what we ought to see. The final installment (Open Mouth) speaks for itself, while being intriguing at the same time. This is because it is the finality of our purpose. Each of the prior books developed character, while Open Mouth produces character. It solidifies the start to finish as we ultimately serve who is the Beginning and End.
